BRETT FAVRE RETIRES AFTER 17 SEASONS

Brett Favre is the NFL’s only three-time MVP, and leads the league with 442 touchdown passes, 61,655 yards passing and 160 career victories. He started 253 consecutive regular-season games, more than any other quarterback in history.
Favre also holds the more dubious mark of 288 interceptions — an indication of the wild streak that only made him more human to the fans who adored him. He retired today after 17 seasons. There will never be another like him. NFL writer, Cliff Brown sits down with Papa Joe to remember Brett Favre, click below to hear the interview from www.papajoetalk.com

Arkansas Ryan Mallett vs NCAA Eligibility Rules: Papa With Chris Bahn
Ryan Mallett is a 6-7, 253 pound QB who was recruited to Michigan by Lloyd Carr.
When Carr resigned and possibly retired, Ryan Mallett declined to stay in Ann Arbor and soon he transfered to the University of Arkansas. Fresh start for Ryan? Not so, he won’t be able to play until 2009 because of an NCAA rule that doesn’t make reasonable sense.

Chris Bahn, Editor and Writer for ArkansasSports360.com explains the complications with Ryan Mallett.
